Davenport, Iowa’s proud son returns to the scene with his first new music in two years. Magic Cyclops releases “Free Cowboy Hats Latest and Greatest Hits” available only via digital download and limited edition download card. This groundbreaking digital only E.P. covers such cutting edge social issues as teen pregnancy, thinking, drug addiction, the forthcoming apocalypse and Iowa pride.

Magic, a native of Davenport’s bustling social scene and world’s biggest Hulamaniac, began making music in his bedroom nearly 20 years ago. Some might notice and question Magic’s British accent. This stems from growing up poor. The only television channel that Magic’s family received was the local PBS channel, which mostly aired BBC programming as Magic was growing up. The cult comedian/musician has been covered by the likes of alt/country pioneers Drag The River (most notably), as well as many other lesser bands.
