Smoothbore

Two Bass, One Drum, All Rock. Smoothbore formed in 2009 when the three members were between bands and got together just to jam and keep in shape musically. Sonya Decman, formerly of The Symptoms and Tarmints among others, took the vocal duties along with playing bass. Matt Flanagan, formerly of Derailed, Black Smiths, and Boss 302 took the “lead” bass duties. Keeping time on drums was Scott Lewis, formerly of Derailed, Black Smiths, and Western Ritual. They soon realized that even without a guitarist, songs were coming together rather easily, and felt like they had an interesting sound. They decided to make it official, came up with a name, and within a month of getting together played their first show and have been going strong ever since.
