The Americans

We must not consider ourselves better than any other, for that will serve not but vanity. We are simply a different variable in the same equation. We are unwillingly, but inevitably an equal share of the filth that wickedly pollutes this otherwise pristine Earth; however, we will defy the corruption, greed, and the mindless self-indulgence placed before us. We will defy the American Standard, and if in the end all that is achieved is but a mere rattling of our cage, at least others will know that we tried. That we, of the same equation, rejected our shackles and strove to be free.

Though we detest our forcefully assigned label, we have nevertheless been branded The Americans by our captures. Once hailing from lands far away, we now do battle on the arid plains of San Diego.
